LUNA Collective | Draw for the Future - A playful city center

Описание: Begin 2026 organiseerden Media Art Friesland en Wijkpanel Binnenstad Leeuwarden samen een familieworkshop in Fire Café in Leeuwarden. Daar maakten jong en oud tekeningen over hun ideeën over spelen en bewegen in de binnenstad van het Leeuwarden van 2050. Hoe ziet de spelende toekomst er dan uit?

Alle tekeningen zijn door Anne Fie Salverda van LUNA Collective verwerkt in deze kleurrijke animatie, die tijdens LUNA Nights 2026 werd geprojecteerd op scheepscontainers op het Wilhelminaplein.

Dit project is mede mogelijk gemaakt door het Wijkpanel Binnenstad Leeuwarden, een bewonersorganisatie van vrijwilligers die zich actief inzetten voor de binnenstad. Het Wijkpanel werkt samen met bewoners om initiatieven te initiëren, te ondersteunen en waar mogelijk te realiseren. Daarbij denkt het Wijkpanel mee met bewoners en de gemeente om tot een prettige, veilige en leefbare leefomgeving te komen in de binnenstad.

In early 2026, Media Art Friesland and Wijkpanel Binnenstad Leeuwarden jointly organised a family workshop at Fire Café in Leeuwarden. Young and old created drawings expressing their ideas about play and movement in Leeuwarden’s city centre in 2050. What will the future of play look like?

All drawings were transformed into this colourful animation by Anne Fie Salverda of LUNA Collective, which was projected onto shipping containers at Wilhelminaplein during LUNA Nights 2026.

This project was made possible in part by the Wijkpanel Binnenstad Leeuwarden, a volunteer residents’ organization that actively works for the city centre. The Wijkpanel collaborates with residents to initiate, support, and, where possible, realize initiatives. It also works together with residents and the municipality to help create a pleasant, safe, and liveable environment in the city centre.
