Military sources say Pakistani forces launched air-to-ground missile strikes targeting Taliban military offices in Kabul, Kandahar, and Paktia following the destruction of border posts and key installations.

The Taliban, however, claim they launched retaliatory attacks on Pakistani military positions, further deepening the crisis. With heavy exchanges reported along multiple border sectors, fears of a broader conflict are rising.
