What happens when you take a Tiger Moth - a design that is the best part of 100 years old - and put modern stall/spin theory to the test?
Phil takes the Tiger Moth out to explore stall stick position, and stall/spin behaviour in level, climbing, descending and skidding turns. Also, a number of viewers contacted us asking how an aeroplane would behave if you stall in a side slip. We test that too!

Phil is passionate about educating pilots on the importance of elevator position awareness. Put simply, if the pilot does not exceed stall stick position, the wing cannot be stalled. Phil's goal is to see stall/spin accidents eliminated through better pilot education and awareness.
