Описание: Have you ever wondered why of all the states in Nigeria, only Ekiti towns have the "-Ekiti" suffix?

This video explores the origin of the Ekiti people. Yes, they were once a People before they were politicised into a state. I showed how the people are related to Oduduwa, the ancestor of the Yoruba Race and touched a bit on the Ekiti Parapo W@r of 1877.

The Ekiti people have their peculiar native dance. Watch to the end to see the demonstration of the Ekiti native dance and my rendition of the state's anthem. Again, yes, the Ekiti people have an anthem.
