So, let's start with the big one: the map. Dorman Port is finally happening. If you haven’t been keeping up with the lore, Dorman Port is the northern gateway to Mondstadt. It’s a massive trading hub that connects the city of wind to the rest of Teyvat. For the longest time, it was just a name mentioned by NPCs, but in 6.5, we actually get to walk through it.
According to the latest info from the beta testers and people who have actually seen the layout, this expansion is roughly the size of two Dragonspines. Think about that for a second. Dragonspine is already huge and dense, so doubling that is a massive win for explorers. However, there is a catch. About half of that new content is actually water. You can actually see this already if you look at the Teyvat globe view from the moon in-game. The port itself is being compared to Yilong Port in terms of size and detail. It’s got that bustling, industrial-meets-fantasy vibe that makes Mondstadt feel like a real nation again.
