Rapidly produced video to validate the concept of using a halfwave plate as a marked double slit quantum eraser. The double slit is marked with a vertical polarizing filter in front of one slit and a horizontal polarizing filter in front of the other slit (marked slits). On the backside of only one slit (the vertical polarized slit) is a halfwave plate which retards the vertical photons into horizontally polarized photons.
I recognize I have not strictly demonstrated a quantum eraser, as this would require a single photon detector (which I do not own) to prove each photon traverses both paths and interferes with itself. Lessons from the traditional Young double slit inform the bettor that this is in fact what is occurring. To be continued.
