Описание: I'm Trying to be Like Jesus has got to be one of my favorite Christ-centered songs ever written. The lyrics are so relatable; we could all stand to be more like our Savior in some way or another. The lyrics go:
I'm trying to be like Jesus,
I'm following in his ways.
I'm trying to love as he did,
in all that I do and say.
At times I am tempted to make the wrong choice,
but I try to listen as the still small voice whispers:
Love one another as Jesus loves you!
Try to show kindness in all that you do.
Be gentle, and loving, in deed and in thought,
for these are the things Jesus taught.
I'm trying to love my neighbor,
I'm learning to serve my friends.
I watch for the day of gladness
when Jesus will come again!
I try to remember the lessons He taught,
then the Holy Spirit enters into my thoughts, saying:
Love one another as Jesus loves you!
Try to show kindness in all that you do.
Be gentle, and loving, in deed and in thought,
for these are the things Jesus taught!
I add my testimony that Jesus was the perfect example of kindness and light. All of us are blessed to have the light of Christ in us; tap into it. Use your light for good. The potential each of you have to bless lives is so much more than you probably think. Christ lived. He died. He lives again, and this time forever. He was perfect. So, if you're ever having trouble being kind to someone, or maybe being kind to yourself, or if you really just miss something or someone, you can find peace and solace in Him. He is standing right in front of you with open arms just waiting for you to hug Him and allow Him to help you be better each day! As a very wise person for their age taught me once: as long as we trust Him and follow His counsel, everything will turn out exactly as it is supposed to 🙂 I know that's true.
