Welcome to ROV SuBastian Divestream #498 aboard R/V Falkor (too)! Join our science team led by our Principal Investigator, Dr. Dave Butterfield (University of Washington/NOAA), as they complete the first ROV SuBastian dive at a site called Grappe Deux (25 degrees N) at the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. We have several objectives for this dive - explore for hydrothermal activity at "swarm" smoker identified by the previous ROV dive. This will primarily be a sampling dive.
