Quick video of my autonomous, LEGO NXT controlled pano head. The frame is cut from 25mm MDF and mounted on the tripod and tribrach from a second hand laser level. Programmed in NXC (http://bricxcc.sourceforge.net/)
Program accommodates just about any lens/ zoom combination - just set the camera up before the program starts.
Can shoot 'specific' panos or just start at a point and keep trundling round until it has done a full circle or the stop switch is pressed. Currently programmed in NXC but NXT-G or any of the other NXT programming languages can be used. Unlike commercial heads, you can write programs to do exactly what you want. including static or moving time-lapse.
Sound seems to have been reduced during upload, you will have to turn it up high to hear it.
