Awaze is a delicious and flavorful Ethiopian sauce/dipping sauce often served with injera, kurit/tire siga and various stews. This special version, known as "The Royal Awaze," is made with high-quality whiskey for an elevated taste.
ingredents:
Berbere: 1tablespoons
Wiskey:as you needed thickness just like the way you want
olive oil/ oil: 1 teaspoon
1/4 teaspoon ginger powder
1/4 teaspoon fresh minced/crushed garlic
1/4 teaspoon Cardamom powder
salt to taste
instructions:
1. mix the berbere, olive oil/ oil, ginger powder and salt
2. combine with a bit of whiskey. stir until it forms a smooth paste. adjust the whiskey amount to reach your desired consistency.
3. add 1/4 cardamom powder
awaze is ready to serve! pair it with injera, kurit, tibs as a dipping sauce
