Proteus is a three-tonne technology demonstrator by Leonardo, designed for the Royal Navy to showcase modular payload flexibility, autonomy, and VTOL rotorcraft innovation.
Scheduled for first flight mid-2025, it features a digital twin, over 40 advanced composite components, and interchangeable mission bays for roles like anti-submarine warfare, surveillance, or supply—all in one aircraft.
