Shuhaib Murder: Police Recover Machete From Mattannur |Mathrubhumi News

Описание: Kannur: The machete that was used to hack Youth Congress leader Shuhaib in Kannur was recovered here on Thursday. The machete was found on a vacant land in Mattannur, wrapped in a red cloth. Police are investigating for any blood stains. There are also reports that Shuhaib was murdered by a gang which had been released from jail recently. A few accused are being kept in remand following the League-CPM fighting and police are probing their links. Police are also suspecting those who were lodged in the jail along with Shuhaib. Police also suspect that the assaulters might have gone underground immediately after committing the murder. Hence police are planning to cancel the bail that was given to accused who have completed their remand period.
