Phony invoices stirring up controversy with Ontario’s PC party

It looks like an invoice. But instead it’s a fundraising pitch disguised as a bill. It was sent by a marketing company for the Ontario PC party to recipients all over the province.
“The more I looked at it, I just got so angry,” said Ontario resident Veronica Doyon who received it in the mail.
It's a pitch for money for the PC Party in advance of the next election.
“You know It’s pretty unseemly and it really is distasteful. And it just feels like they’re trying to dupe seniors and folks who might not read the fine print,” Ontario’s Opposition Leader Andrea Horwath said.
