This beautiful theme, part of the fabulous soundtrack of "The Godfather", is here presented in a bandoneon solo version.
Paolo has dedicated also an entire album with his quintet to an interpretation of the film works of the Italian composer Nino Rota, in the project "Fellini goes jazz" (2014). The album is from a live recording during the Paolo Russo Quintet at the prestigious jazz club Montmartre in Copenhagen, during the Copenhagen Jazz Festival 2013, featuring Nico Gori - clarinet; Emanuele Cisi, tenor sax; Francesco Calì, accordion and piano; Jesper Bodilsen, contrabass; Paolo Russo, bandoneon, piano, programming, arrangements and direction.
