2HR DELAY!! British Airways Airbus A320NEO London Heathrow to Naples [G-TTNI] (Euro Traveller)

A very eventful trip with BA to Naples it has to be said. BA536 onboard this Airbus A320Neo, G-TTNI on Monday 26th June 2023.

Off to a problematic start, with our original aircraft, G-TTNE's windshield becoming unstuck it was rendered un-airworthy. So we were delayed before we'd even set off. A very very busy flight, Once finally onboard, with every seat taken as far as I could see, we sat around for a further hour before FINALLY pushing back at 11.50, instead of scheduled 10.10 and starting our long and boring taxi out RWY27R which most of it I've cut out but it took 30 minutes to taxi the entire length of Heathrow! Check out the BA A350, G-XWBN that was almost fresh off the production line that we saw just as we were on the top edge of the runway!!!

Once finally airborne at 12.21, after a whopping 131 minute delay we turn back on ourselves and towards Italy, climbing out and over London Gatwick and towards the coast over the White Cliffs of Dover, into a Cloudy France and the Swiss Alps, then the mountainous Italy and before we know it we're descending for an absoloutley breathtaking approach into Naples. But with a good tailwind and a flight time of just 2 hours and 10 minutes we land into Naples just over 90 mins behind schedule.
Now the crew on this flight were lovely. Very apologetic about the delay, especially the Captain who gave us a very thorough explanation of what had happened to the original aircraft and all the information regarding ETA and the BA App. They were very professional throughout and even offered me to go in the flight deck.

Now we were only sitting in Euro Traveller so we only got Pretzels and a Bottle of water but the service upfront in Club Europe did look very good. However the seats in Euro Traveller do leave your back slightly numb especially with the additional hour on the ground.

Overall, slight tedious but can't complain, the crew were professional throughout and very attentive. Though was of course slightly annoying that we ended up being in Heathrow for 6 hours!!!
And a special shoutout to Lola Rzymski for putting up with me for 3+ hours!
