A new bill seeking to restrict foreigners to contracts worth more than one billion shillings is set to be introduced in parliament. Mathira MP Rigathe Gachagua says the bill is mainly aimed at stopping the Chinese from doing jobs that can be done by Kenyans. The new effort comes in the wake of complaints that Kenyans are losing out to Chinese businessmen.
