Описание: After being blocked for several months because of the local drought, the local council used machinery to open the mouth of the Hopkins River. The initial stream quickly grew into a torrent of water as it washed away tonnes of sand. Finally, eels and fish will be able to access their breeding grounds, and the flooding upstream will ease.
