Bursa is only 4 hours away from Istanbul. It's often overlooked by travellers as they make their way to the Mediterranean coast. But I decided to stop here for a few days, which turned into nearly a week.
There are many historical sites, restaurants, and hiking options. Not to mention Turkish bath houses, malls, bars, and a large student population.
