I flew in for the weekend and headed straight to Cate Farms for a full day of honest work. From brush cutting with the John Deere tractor to clearing out a fallen tree limb near the barn, it was one job after another—and I loved every minute of it. I hauled the debris to the burn pile, kept watch as the fire glowed into the evening, and soaked in the kind of satisfaction only a day's labor can bring.
