Today’s video was made in the summer of 2025 hay season. Started August 3rd finished August 6th.
The equipment used, 1984 ford 7610, 90s case ih 8330 Haybine, New holland 256 Rolabar rake, Massey Ferguson 124 small square baler.
In the 4 day span I made 12 acres of hay. We had an extremely dry summer with very little rain so there wasn’t much for grass on the fields this year. In total got around 100 bales which is our worst year yet. There were no breakdowns at all this year which was a great bonus to the season. For the summer of 2026 we have more hayfields coming so this year we should have around 25 acres to mow.
The dozer is a new purchase we made in the spring of 2025. We bought it to clear more land and make fields. It’s a 1990s Komatsu d65e.
