The indie Breath EP marks the very beginning of Aya Kamiki’s musical journey, released under the stage name Kurimu on May 21, 2003. With its mix of emotional ballads and rock-driven energy, the EP showcases the raw power and husky tone that would later become her trademark.
Aya Kamiki (上木 彩矢, b. September 10, 1985) is a Japanese singer and songwriter known for blending J-pop and hard rock. After her indie debut as Kurimu, she signed to GIZA Studio in 2005, releasing hits like “Pierrot” (featured in Detective Conan). Throughout her career, Aya has fronted projects such as UROBOROS and continues to be celebrated for her strong stage presence and powerful vocals.
