It is very easy to teach a child to read.
1) Teach letter sounds
2) Have the child blend two and three letter words!(expand below)
Once the child has mastered reading some words Move on to teach all of the sounds of the english language through my reading program Elemental Phonics:

Proceed to teach Dolch sight words once the child is reading simple words. Sight words are needed to be learned by sight so that child becomes a fluent reader. These are the words most seen in English when reading that do not follow decoding rules. I will be making a video of the sight words so that you can show your kids.
