Patalsu Challange - The Hell Race | Solang Sky Ultra

The challange was to complete the summit and return under 3hours. Was quite nervous before the starting line as i was not in touch since 2 months and bang, it was 4200m Patalsu peak that i had to scale from 2400m solang nala. Tore my last trail @salomon_lndia sense pro shoes and now i just had the road ones which would have been a nightmare while running DOWNHILL so i just experimented with football studs, which turned on to be one of my big mistakes.

I had a good start behind Devender Thakur but as i started feeling numbness in my foot it got difficult to pace up with him after 400m gain and started walking at a fast pace. Then the guy behind caught me and i soon paced up with 4th guy and we moved to 1000m gain where i gave a little jog to next 200m gain as i was trailing my last years time at that point by 5min and made a decent gap from the 4th. Reached the topmost checkpoint at 1hr 37min which was so good than expected.

Then came the real thing, running DOWNHILL was quite tricky for me as i had to run slanting like a skier and with stiff sole it was no joke on the rocks. It took me 51min to reach the base which was like 5kmph snail speed for running DOWNHILL, just imagine. As soon as i reached the finish line after 2hour 28min, 4th position and bruised toes, i straight away dipped my feet into the cold river water and then i felt a bit normal. I was so happy to achieve it ❤️

Thank you @thehellrace for organizing such an amazing trail event and i was amazed to see local participants, they all were amazing. Hope to see you all next year too but with a stronger and fully equipped me. 🙌

Tried @leap.endurance.gel energy gel for the first time and didn't had to put enough effort unlike other gels to use it and its taste was also better than i expected 👌
