CAT INV2000 Inverter Generator - Will it Run a Dometic Penguin II 13.5K BTU Air Conditioner?

Описание: Can you run a Dometic 13.5K BTU Air Conditioner with a small and compact Caterpillar (CAT) INV2000 Inverter Generator? The CAT INV2000 is rated with starting watts of 2,250 and running watts of 1,800. Dometic, the manufacturer of the Penguin II 13.5K BTU AC rates the unit at 1,731 watts, but ratings versus real world testing can often be two different scenarios. In today's video I'll test the CAT INV2000 Inverter Generator and see if it can handle the massive Dometic Penguin II 13.5K BTU Air Conditioner. This is real-world testing and I'll include temperature and time readouts. And for those curious, the Dometic AC featured in this video is NOT modified and does NOT have any kind of soft start capacitor installed. I'll do all of this on the NoBo 10.6 overlander.
