Zilean Support Build Season 8 Runes | SupportCraft

Описание: The next episode of SupportCraft is going to feature Zilean (again :p). This build is NOT a conventional Zilean build and is composed of a lot of TheoryCrafting to make this work.

IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO TRY OUT A UNCONVENTIONAL BUILD, OR ARE NOT EXPERIENCED WITH ZILEAN, DO NOT USE THIS BUILD!

I do not recommend this build to new people playing the champion, but if you love Zilean and are open to new builds used on him, I definitely recommend giving this video a watch, as this build is crazy fun when played correctly. It also breathes some fresh air on Zilean's playstyle, adding even more utility than he already has built into his kit as a Support champion.

The goal of this build is to make Zilean as much of a lane bully as possible in the laning phase, then transitioning him into the literal Jack of all Trades support champion midgame/lategame, with very high utility as well as a bit of damage, healing, and shielding (crazy, right?).

There will be two rune paths that you choose from below:

If you ARE laning with a hypercarry ADC (such as Vayne or Twitch):
Primary Path: Sorcery
Summon Aery (Keystone)
Manaflow Band
Transcendence
Scorch

Secondary Path: Resolve
Font of Life
Second Wind

If you ARE NOT laning with a hypercarry ADC (such as Lucian or Caitlyn):

Primary Path: Sorcery
Summon Aery (Keystone)
Manaflow Band
Transcendence
Scorch

Secondary Path: Inspiration
Biscuit Delivery
Magical Footwear

In-Game Build
-Start Spellthief's Edge and Health Pots
-Frostfang
-Sightstone
-Redemption (Provides team heal, as well as 150% base mana regen, which Zilean needs)
-Boots of Mobility
-Athene's Unholy Grail (Provides 90AP at this point with passive included, procs healing when you use your E or R on an ally and Summon Aery is triggered following)
-Frost Queen's Claim (allows you to slow down enemy champs from afar as well as speed up your own allies using your E. Makes picks and teamfights easy to start)
-Ruby Sightstone

If you ARE laning with a hypercarry ADC (such as Vayne or Twitch):
-Ardent Censer (procs off of Summon Aery, Redemption, AND Font of Life when you E an opponent, double bomb anyone, or they are hit with the ghosts of Frost Queen's Claim).

If you ARE NOT laning with a hypercarry ADC (such as Lucian or Caitlyn):
-Finish with either Locket of the Iron Solari or Mikael's Crucible, depending on team needs.
