Here’s what happened when we put a double RICON S VS configuration through full-scale seismic testing—backed by results from two different universities.
We put our double RICON connectors through rigorous tests: a full-scale, full-load seismic testing at the University of Northern British Columbia, with results validated against component-level testing at Queen’s University.
📊 What we found:
• Full-frame testing showed individual connectors reaching over 4% drift while still supporting full design load
• Component testing showed 6.9% drift—nearly identical to single RICON performance
• No meaningful difference in seismic behavior compared to single configuration
