Gloom Under Night is by far one of the strongest MVP all over Midgard, only inferior when compared to devastating beasts like Ifrit, Valkyrie Randgris, Belzebub or Biolab F3/F4 ones. Knowing that, my friend Shak and I decided to try something I was thinking weeks before: Tanking Gloom with a very high DEF equipment and no Safety Wall, so the Lord Knight on its own will be the sponge of the damage.

This was a first test in order to mesure how strong this monster is, and I've noticed a peak of 15-18k damage with his Ghost Attribute Attack, the only one I can't minimize with cards as I'm Pasana carded for reducing all his fire stuff.

Gloom requires a lot of HP items in order to survive, not only the HP support. Even though that, its normal to die sometimes against this kind of monsters, but I must admit I died three times basically because three avoidable mistakes: 1-Not changing the BM for Condensed Pots. 2-Not balancing correctly the exact number of Condenseds I'll need (this is normal in a test though) and 3-Switching with a missclick my unbreakable sword (Golem-Minorous) to the other one (Civil Servant x2).

It was a funny challenge, I must add that first of all we killed his Agavs with my Sniper, in order to avoid those annoying Thunder Storms and Soul Strikes, I personally recommend it. At the end we needed more or less 9 minutes of battle to beat him, I'm sure we an do it faster just avoiding the mistakes on this video.

Obligatory equipment: A very high DEF one, here's my own:

-Meteo Plate Armor +7 [Pasana Card].
-Manteau +9 [Raydric Card].
-Diabolus Boots +9 [Antique Firelock].
-Helm +8.
-Bloody Eater [Golem + Civil Servant/Peco Egg/Abysmal Knight/Minorous].

Obligatory consumables:

-At least 250-350 Mastelas / Condensed White Potion.
-200-300 Grape Juice.
-Fireproof Potion.
-PD+20 New World Food.
-Military Ration B (+33 Hit).
