Protection of Children with Disabilities in Residential Facilities: Reducing Restraint & Seclusion

Описание: Have questions about how you can best support and respond to youth who experience restraint and seclusion in Residential Treatment Centers (RTCs)? This 60-minute online training will provide an overview of the laws regulating the use of restraint and seclusion in RTCs serving children and youth. Additionally, this training will discuss strategies to protect children from serious injuries that occur as a result of restraint or seclusion, and ensure that RTCs are using trauma-informed practices to help youth reach their treatment goals and return to their families and communities as soon as possible.
