Officials warn that flu cases are flaring up and in parts of the U.S. at an unprecedented rate. More than a dozen states are seeing high or very high flu activity with 4.6 million cases, 49,000 hospitalizations and 1,900 deaths from flu so far this season, according to the CDC.
