Feb. 14th, 2014: New card works flawlessly and no errors have occurred yet. I suspect that my first defect was just a needle in a haystack and you won't likely have the same problem. Kingston honoured their lifetime warranty with no questions asked and I am very happy with them. I stand by my call that this is the best CF card on the market right now (considering its low price and high performance).

Dec 12th, 2013: New card arrived after a slight mistake in my address at Kingston. New card working extremely well with no errors. Will keep using this card to see how it goes. Will test again in a Nikon D3S.

Oct. 7th, 2013: Card corrupted again yesterday; I lost about 94 photos (I was able to recover them using MediaRECOVER). I've since contacted the Kingston Warranty dept and they were prompt in their response to my problem, making everything easier. They gave me instructions to ship the card to their facility and, upon receiving the card, will send me a new one.

Maybe you should stick to SanDisk if you can't have failing gear. My Sandisks and Lexars have NEVER failed.

1. The card has corrupted recently TWICE from unknown errors (could be my own fault for formatting it in-camera too many times). The fix for such event is to insert it into a computer and do a thorough format (NOT quick-format). I did that to the card and it has been super reliable since. Note that a regular format of the card can take up to 2 hours (mine took just over one hour).

2. The card was further tested in the Canon 5D Mark II. After shooting 4 pitch-black shots with a body cap on, the files (20.3 MB each) were written to the card in less than 2 seconds after the burst ended. That's incredibly fast!
