বৈষম্যবিরোধী ছাত্র আন্দোলনের অন্যতম সমন্বয়ক ও জাতীয় নাগরিক কমিটির মুখ্য সংগঠক সারজিস আলম বিবাহবন্ধনে আবদ্ধ হয়েছেন।

জানা যায়, সারজিস আলমের স্ত্রী একজন কোরআনের হাফেজা এবং সবসময় পর্দা মেনে চলেন। পারিবারিক সিদ্ধান্ত অনুযায়ী তার নাম প্রকাশ করা হয়নি। তবে জানা গেছে, তিনি এক ভাই ও এক বোনের মধ্যে সবার বড়।

শুক্রবার (৩১ জানুয়ারি) গাজীপুরের রাজেন্দ্র রিসোর্টে পারিবারিকভাবে তার বিয়ে সম্পন্ন হয়। সামাজিক যোগাযোগমাধ্যম ফেসবুকে যুব ও ক্রীড়া উপদেষ্টা আসিফ মাহমুদ বিষয়টি নিশ্চিত করেন। তিনি সারজিস আলমের বিয়ের একটি ছবি শেয়ার করে লিখেছেন, "নবজীবনে পদার্পণে অভিনন্দন সারজিস ভাই। বিবাহিত জীবন সুখের হোক।"
