Driving from Nairobi to Meru in Kenya on the A2 Thika highway passing the towns of Ruiru, Juja, Thika, Kabati, Makuyu and Makutano, then turning right on the B6 Embu-Nairobi highway to Kirinyaga county passing the towns of Wamumu, Wang'uru, Matandara, Kimbimbi, Mururi and the cities Embu, Chuka and then to Meru. The road from Embu to Meru is one of the most exciting and picturesque roads in Kenya driving up and down hills on fast roads through dense forrest. It reminds a bit about the Black forrest road in Germany. Total distance about 240 km and taking around 5 hours to drive.
