Enter a breathtaking world of rival kingdoms, ancient magic, forbidden love, hidden betrayals and powerful dragons.

In a realm divided by bloodlines and ambition, Queen Aveline and King Caelan stand on opposing sides of a dangerous struggle for the throne. As rulers, warriors, witches, elves, dwarves and Nordic enemies gather around them, every alliance is tested and every secret threatens to ignite a devastating war.

Queen Aveline must prove that she is the rightful ruler of her kingdom while confronting enemies beyond her borders and betrayal from within her own court. King Caelan faces his own responsibilities, loyalties and growing connection to the queen he was once destined to oppose.

But while the kingdoms prepare for war, darker forces are already moving.

A forbidden romance is discovered.
A trusted member of the royal household is exposed as a traitor.
A dragon’s egg is stolen.
An ancient dragon answers the call of his queen.
And the future of every kingdom hangs in the balance.
