Описание: 4K Nature Hawaii Relaxation Videos presents the Pu'u Konahuanui Peak Trail hike via the Pali Notches and the infamous Chimney on the island of Oahu.

Pu'u Konahuanui Peak is the highest point in the entire Ko'olau Mountain range on the island of Oahu. Also known as "K1," Konahuanui tops out at 3,150 feet, almost doubling the height of nearby Mount Olomana.

The Pali Notches is so named after its two manmade notches at the time of the famous Battle of Nu'uanu. King Kamehameha I is credited for unifying the Hawaiian Islands after winning this critical battle in 1795.

The "Chimney" at the end of the notches is an extremely dangerous vertical rock face that serves as an appropriate gate to the rest of the Konahuanui Trail via the Pali Notches.

There have been many deaths from just the Pali Notches alone; the latter portion of the Konahuanui Peak Trail requires solid climbing and mountaineering skills, making it even more dangerous.
