Steph and Dom Parker's B&B has come under fire.

The Gogglebox stars are facing criticism over the running of The Salutation, which advertises rooms at a rate of up to £200 per night for visitors willing to shell out.

According to The Daily Star, the reality couple's establishment has been handed a measly one out of five star rating in Dover District Council's food hygiene system following an inspection earlier this month.

Fridges and the ice machine were "not clean" but covered in limescale and there was a "lack of disinfection facilities for work surfaces and equipment," said the report.
There need to be documented food safety procedures and records in place," it added.

Pictures that are reportedly of the B&B show a kitchen that can be seen in a shocking state of disarray.

One of the images shows "rotting meat" at the bottom of a fridge, while another shows "three inches of foul yellow water" at the bottom of a fridge.

A source said: “It is one of the most disgusting kitchens I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot. Places have their off days, but management sorts it out and every now and then they’ll have a deep clean."
The source went on to claim that the photos were taken last month, shortly before the latest inspection of the Bed & Breakfast took place on June 30th.

In response to the claims, a representative denied the pictures were taken in the establishment's kitchen, saying: "The pictures are from the cellar in The Salutation. No food is prepared in the cellar. It is like your shed. It is not your kitchen."
