►A nurse has gone on trial accused of murdering seven babies and attempting to murder 10 others.
Lucy Letby is alleged to have carried out the killings over a 12 month period at the Countess of Chester Hospital.
Today, a court heard babies in her care deteriorated in a way that defied doctors' expectations.
The 32-year-old denies all the charges on the first day of evidence.
