This couple shocked guests at their own surprise party by airing a video of their secret wedding, before confirming the party was in fact a wedding reception.
Erika Berry, 34, and Matt Berry, 48, live in Davenport, Iowa, US and met while working out at a gym in 2016.
With both Erika’s and Matt’s birthdays falling on the week between the ceremony and the party, they decided it made the perfect cover story for a surprise wedding reception.
Guests were told to attend the surprise birthday party at Credit Island Lodge on July 25 2021.
