NOTE that this is Shakey and long footage with movements as 1, I injured my right hand minutes before this video due to my e-scooter turning mechanism locking up and fell and also had my tripod in hand and broke key parts of my tripod. I was racing this way to get this after assuming the train would use track 1 through the Fig St crossing but of course the day I come out here, nothing wants to use the Fig St crossing freight wise, always some annoyance while railfanning in the 2020s decade era and other non railfanning annoyances from this era. I eventually sat my camera on the ground and on the tripod anyway and also, the train came in for a crew change and stopped on top of the crossing for an extended long time longer than the video actually portrayed I just cut out and sped up shakier parts of just sitting train something I hate to do on a main catch video at a crossing. This video is originally 24 minutes long. 2 was already mentioned that it was a crew change train that sat on top of the crossing and basically, my hand got tired of holding my camera.
For anyone wondering, my hand was healed weeks later after this and fully healed a little before a month later. My right palm had a nasty burn and a sore thumb on my left hand where I was holding my tripod. The left hand thumb however taking a little longer to fully heal internally. My camera bag and tripod took most of the impact of my fall.
After waiting around Roseville, I checked the Marysville camera earlier and had seen the ZBRLA coming through with the ex-CNW unit formally CNW 8808 Operation Life Saver (OLS) unit and setup again at Fig St hoping it would use that track off the Valley Sub as I seen stack trains do and little did I know just like the ZG2LT, the ZBRLA would just get routed through the yard which angered me so I hopped on my scooter and ride it full speed towards J.R. Davis was something I always do with trains but my scooters turning locked up and I fell off and broke my tripod and injured my right hand with a massive scrape on the inside of my palm of my hand. The positive side is I made it to the roadway crossing but now have to have a Shakey video of a special catch boy the way things work out nowadays.
Union Pacific Railroad ZBRLA, Z-Train, Intermodal Stack Train westbound on the UP Martinez Sub passes through the J.R. Davis Road railroad crossing with an ex-Chicago & Northwestern Railway OLS unit having a crew change in Roseville, California. I had also caught an ex-SP this same day earlier.
