Kintsugi - The short film with the voice of Dominique Provost-Chalkley (a STW funded project)

Описание: We may fall into pieces, but we do not need to stay in this state forever. Instead, we should learn that it is alright to see the beauty within our flaws and scars.

Comparable to the Japanese art of "Kintsugi," our pieces can be put back together with gold-dusted lacquer to highlight the cracks instead of hiding them.

Presently due to the covid-19 pandemic, the feeling of self-isolation and loneliness comes into focus. Many of us may suffer from being alone.

We often compare ourselves with the rising desire for what everyone else got. Despite what society wants us to believe, happiness can be found from within.

"Kintsugi" is a short film that takes you on the protagonist "Ella's emotional journey." Trapped in everyday life, she experiences depression and its side effects. But suddenly, something inspires her to break her daily life. She will find back to herself while experiencing a reconnection with nature.
