Much like the English language, there is many aspect of music theory that don't really make sense. Features and practices that were once built for purpose however, either due to changes in the music we make, or in changes to how we use theory in the first place, are now often more confusing than they have to be. So today I'm going to pitch six ways that I would reform or fix music theory!
