Описание: 4/22/16...introduce the lead for the first time. Not exactly what I expected! (before the inital "clipping the lead to her halter, there was about 30 minutes of just desensitizing her with it and letting me touch her with the rope.... )I was glad that she tuned into me when she was running around the pen, and eventually stopped. I got the lead off and had to fix her rope halter, and I put a shorter lead on her, that I could leave on, but wouldnt get tangled in her feet. My idea for next time is to make my rounden saller, and to use a heavier cotton lunge line instead of a lead, so she cant "get away". I dont want to teach her that freaking out and pulling and getting away, solves her problems. I want her to realize that when she stops and takes a step, thats what will releas e the pressure, and that it doesnt have to be a scary thing.
