Are Cities Ready for a Longevity Boom? Episode 130

Описание: Would massive breakthroughs in longevity lead to another population explosion? How would a longevity boom change how we live? And how can cities plan for that?

As a permaculture urbanist old guy firmly on team longevity, I’ve gotcha covered. I remember when governments and some of my peers feared overpopulation so much that they took drastic action. Now billionaires and governments are pushing for equally drastic change in the other direction.

Rather than lurch from one harsh policy to the next, let’s examine the emerging forces that shape city populations, as well as our biggest ecological and social opportunities, and try to distill these down to sensible urban design choices.
