Sizing is also important to consider. Typically, a newborn baby is born between 3-4kg, which is a 0000 or newborn size. A size 000 is for babies from 0-3 months of age, which will typically be too large for a newborn baby. We recommend starting your wardrobe with size 0000 and possibly 00000 items.

When purchasing baby clothing for your first wardrobe, consider the longevity of the items you are purchasing. Neutral items are a great option as these can be used again for other children or family members.
