Описание: A lovely treat for members of the Avon Valley Railway. The day included passenger and freight trains, stalls at Bitton station and guided tours of the railway yard. The locomotives in action both on the passenger and freight trains were Brush Type 2, Class 31, 31130 and Hunslet Austerity 0-6-0ST No.7 WIMBLEBURY. The video includes recordings from a steam hauled passenger train and onboard both diesel and steam freight trains all between Bitton and Oldland Common Halt. I have cheated a bit by adding WIMBLEBURY on the southern section of the line (not visited by myself on the Saturday) including ,arriving at Riverside station on the following day (21st July 2024).
