The New Adventures of Heckle and Jeckle: Goldfeather

Описание: first VHS release of Filmation's The New Adventures of Heckle and Jeckle by Kids Klassics titled The New Adventures of Heckle and Jeckle: Goldfeather from 1987. This tape contains the first episode of The New Adventures of Heckle & Jeckle and Quacula presented in its original broadcast format. Quacula (created by Filmation) was the subject of a lawsuit from cartoonist Scott Shaw, who had created the character Duckula (not to be confused with Cosgrove Hall's Count Duckula) for the comic book Quack!. After both Filmation and Scott Shaw settled out of court, Viacom and Filmation removed the Quacula segments from the show after its initial CBS broadcast run, and combined the Heckle and Jeckle segments with the Mighty Mouse segments in the 30 minute reduced broadcast version in 1980. Since Viacom (now Paramount Global) owned the rights to the show, which included the Quacula segments, Viacom reinstated them on various VHS releases of The New Adventures of Heckle & Jeckle and Quacula after the legal issues died down. With the exception of Ralph Bakshi's Mighty Mouse: The New Adventures, Heckle and Jeckle, Mighty Mouse, and the rest of the Terrytoons back catalog have yet to be officially re-released, which is why I'm preserving this tape so that others can see it.
