Our mission for this trip was simple: to catch some fish and eat whatever we found along the way. Not bringing any food was new to me, and I was curious to see how my body would react to the lack of food during the journey.
We started the trip on the east side of Espedalsvatnet and had to packrat over the lake to begin the ascent toward Megrundstjønnet. With 500 meters of elevation over a stretch of two kilometers, it was a tough start to the journey.
