Took the car to redline time attack Oct 24th 2010, car isn't exactly built for time attack but i decided to participate as much as possible. The turbo miata falls into the RWD Modified class, and took 3rd this weekend. This video is part of the "super session" which is a wheel to wheel 20 min "race." My cage, HANS device and HPDE experience qualified me to be part of said event.
Setup includes:
91 oct pump fuel
Absurd flow v-band manifold
GT2860 ~11psi in the rain
RC 550 injectors
8.5:1 motor w/ 99 head
OEM 99 6 speed tranny
3.9 Torsen
Koni race/gc 750F/450R
15x9 949 racing 6uls w/ bald nitto nt01s
