In the wake of farmers’ agitation the regular supply of oil to J&K UT has been halted. In the absence of train services to Jammu, the oil companies are making alternate arrangements for road transportation through oil tankers. The petrol pumps are effected by the short supply and hence the oil scare. The oil tankers association apprehends the drying of petrol pumps in case the agitation is extended beyond 8th October.
