It's snowbird season!! During winter in the northern hemisphere, South Florida weather generally stays between 70 to 80 degrees Fahrenheit (21 to 26 Celsius), which sounds nice for people in the cold. To accommodate the increase in visitors from up north, many airlines switch to larger aircraft during the snowbird season. Air Canada Rouge, a common sight at FLL, begins sending 767's instead of A321's.
However, this past Tuesday, there was a rumor that one of the Rouge 767's would be unable to operate one of these routes. The rumor turned out to be true. And since the substitute equipment needs to have at least the same amount of seats, Air Canada had to send a massive Triple Seven! Although we have seen Triple Sevens at FLL before, it is very uncommon to see one from Air Canada. We hope you enjoy this insane overhead landing!
