Our story begins with a gentleman who had never really given a thought to getting into the hobby of metal detecting but has always been very knowledgeable about history. He finds himself listening to BEYOND SIGHT AND SOUND one day and becomes a regular listener. While trying to help out in a effort raised to assist another friend and fellow hunter in the hobby he finds to his suprise that he has won a Garrett AT Pro metal detector and quickly realizes that he is in fact addicted to the hobby. He begins to learn his machine and makes some nice finds along the way. That was about 2 years ago. Time to fast forward!

PRESENT DAY!

Steve (A.K.A. Home Finder) is a Ohio based hunter who is still a regular listener to the show BEYOND SIGHT AND SOUND. Home Finder still uses his used Garrett AT Pro to recover the past when he's not out selling homes as a Realtor I'm very honored to have met him and call him a good friend. Heck, he even sold me my home.lol On with the story...

Recently Steve found himself out on a hunt on a private property with landowner permission. The location as well as the name of the property owners have been kept confidential to protect both the property and landowner privacy. He finds himself out hunting with his Garrett AT Pro as well as a Baptist minister when all of a sudden he gets a screaming signal that is coming from under a good sized rock. He hands his phone over to the Baptist minister and asks him to video this signal so he can share what the find may be. The video begins to roll and thus the TEASER video is born showing the recovery of a can of waterless hand cleaner from beneath a rock. The can does not appear to have been opened but you can see that the bottom has a slit cut in it that has been sealed again with lead and covered with wax. What could be inside the can? The TEASER video fades to black just as we hope to see what if anything is in the hand cleaner can. Now we break the news so you can see for yourself what is in the can of waterless hand cleaner. Steve unearthed a once in a lifetime find of a cache containing 22 coins dating from 1809-1921 including gold coins, silver dollars, Spanish coins and others! These coins are in very good condition due to the fact that they have been stored in hand cleaner under a rock for all these years.
